Design Concept:

“Propitious Abundance” is one of LIULI artists’ take on classic five-grain motif in Chinese art and literature.  The collection, “Abundance,” alludes to the bountifulness of harvests in the new season.  The pea is has been regarded as a symbol of fertility and fortune in offspring, with its seeds cozily incubated in its pod.  The “grain” (or legume) here portrayed is crafted with higher transparency, invoking a sense of looking within.  It reflects the admiration we have for the act of nurturing and caring.
