Patinated verdigris bronze square vessel with peaked lid inspired by ancient Chinese Fangyi form wine boxes.

Fangyi vessels were used in the Shang dynasty (17th century) in ritual ceremonies.

Weighing in 16.5 lbs, this piece takes over seven months of natural etching underground to achieve this Lawrence & Scott signature finish.

The pieces were commissioned and created by a top workshop in Hong Kong, exclusively for Lawrence & Scott in Seattle.
